Impactful Excursions

Impactful Excursions

For orphans who’ve never left their villages, a single trip can redefine their future

Intro

64% of SATCAO children had never seen the ocean or visited a city before joining our program.

  • Excursions combat isolation and expand horizons for rural orphans.

  • Each trip integrates education (museum visits), life skills (public transport training), and joy (beach days).

  • "You can sponsor a child’s first life-changing adventure for just $85."

Children who participate in excursions show 40% higher school attendance and career aspirations.

Case Study: Emmanuel’s First Trip to the Limbe Wildlife Centre

About SATCAO

A Legacy of Love & Transformation

Founded in 2005 by Mrs. Ngale Nalova Josephine, a retired police inspector turned philanthropist, SATCAO began as a small shelter for five street children in Limbe. Today, we operate seven residential centers across Cameroon, serving orphans, trafficking survivors, and children affected by HIV/AIDS and the Anglophone crisis.

Inspired by her own childhood struggles, Mrs. Ngale envisioned a place where no child would suffer neglect. Her motto: ‘Every life deserves dignity.’

Recognized by Cameroon’s Ministry of Social Affairs (Ref. 2007/193/L/MINAS).
