How Your Support Keeps Orphans in School – Meet SATCOA Orphan's Story.

In Cameroon, 1 in 3 orphaned children never attends school. You can change this.

Intro

  • SATCAO currently sponsors 18 children in schools across Limbe (see full list below).

  • $50/month covers tuition, uniforms, books, and meals for one child.

  • 92% of our sponsored students graduate or transition to vocational training.

Education is the only sustainable escape from poverty. For orphans like Blessing, your gift isn’t just funding school fees—it’s funding hope, dignity, and a future. Here’s how it works:

Case Study: SATCAO Journey

Background:

At 12, one of our kids at SATCAO lost both parents to HIV/AIDS. Forced to live with an abusive aunt, she was pulled out of school to sell water on the streets.

SATCAO’s Intervention:

  1. Rescue: Identified during a 2022 outreach campaign.

  2. Rehabilitation: 6 months of counseling at our Limbe center.

  3. Education: Enrolled at New Horizon Academy with full sponsorship.

Her Progress:

  • 2023: Top 10% in her class.

  • 2024: Joins SATCAO’s after-school coding club.

  • Dream"I want to be a doctor to save lives like SATCAO saved mine."

About SATCAO

A Legacy of Love & Transformation

Founded in 2005 by Mrs. Ngale Nalova Josephine, a retired police inspector turned philanthropist, SATCAO began as a small shelter for five street children in Limbe. Today, we operate seven residential centers across Cameroon, serving orphans, trafficking survivors, and children affected by HIV/AIDS and the Anglophone crisis.

Inspired by her own childhood struggles, Mrs. Ngale envisioned a place where no child would suffer neglect. Her motto: ‘Every life deserves dignity.’

Recognized by Cameroon’s Ministry of Social Affairs (Ref. 2007/193/L/MINAS).
